Welcome to MBChildren's Ministry!

    Here at Meadow Brook we love kids and take great joy in being a part of their spiritual journey! During our Sunday morning services we have classes for kids from the age of three up to grade 5. In these classes, kids participate in worship, object lessons, games, and study the Bible to learn about the love of God! We also have a program for kids two and under.     Kids Club Hour

    SECC Summer Camp Volunteers

    • This summer SECC will be here for their summer camp and we're taking on sharing the gospel weekly with their kiddos! On Fridays July 12th, 19th, and 26th and August 2nd, 9th, and 16th from 9:30am to 10:30am, we'll be holding a "Kids Club" hour where we can share about Jesus and run a fun activity with the kids. If YOU have time on Friday mornings, even if it's only one out of the six Fridays we'll be running this 'Kids Club' hour, we'd love to have you help with this! What will you be doing? Helping to run pre-planned activities and curriculum and getting to know the kids coming out each week.

      VISITING FOR THE FIRST TIME?Walking into a new environment can be scary! We want to help you feel comfortable. When you visit us for the first time, look for the registration area. We will meet your family, register your child, and one of our team members will lead your child to their age-appropriate class. Giving us some contact and personal information will help know how to best teach your child and serve your family.

      SUNDAY MORNINGS


      We have age appropriate classes every Sunday for kids of all ages. Find out more below about our age groups.



      NURSERY

      FROM AGES 0 - 2

      Our littlest ones learn that church is a fun and safe place for them to be loved, cared for, engaged with, and prayed over! We have a secure and safe play area with tons for them to do!
      Parents can drop off their kids in this class at the start of the Sunday morning service, and pick them up afterwards! We open our doors 15 minutes before our morning worship service begins and your children remain there until they have been picked up by a parent.
      The nursery is located on the second floor in the MBKids wing.

      MBTYKES

      FROM AGES 2 - JUNIOR KINDERGARTEN

      Through age-appropriate Bible lessons, songs, play-time and crafts, pre-schoolers learn that Jesus loves them, that the Bible is God's Word, and that church is fun!

      Parents can drop off their kids in this class at the start of the Sunday morning service, and pick them up afterwards!

      MBKIDS

      FROM SENIOR KINDERGARTEN - GRADE 5

      Our kids in this age group join in the adult Sunday morning service for the first part of the service, so that they get to experience worship with their parents and join in with the whole church family! They are then dismissed and escorted by our trained volunteers to their own class, full of relevant and engaging Bible lessons, activities, games, and lots of fun! The first part of this class time happens as one big group, and then we split off into age-appropriate smaller groups to really dig into the lesson!

      Parents can bring their kids in this age group into the adult service with them to start, and then pick them from their age-appropriate classrooms. 2nd floor, children’s wing at the end of the service!

      SAFETY


      At Meadow Brook, we consider it a great honour to care for your children, and their well-being and safety is our highest priority!
       We maintain a strict screening program for all volunteers (including background checks), and have a thorough safety program in place to make sure that our kids are well looked after, amidst all the fun!
      We want parents to feel comfortable, and for your child to feel welcome, confident and accepted as part of MBChildren's Ministry!
